Here we go, most difficult thing there is...talk about yourself.
I'd like to say: "Well, look at my work and see for yourself."
But I wouldn't mind to elaborate here.

The first time that I realised the beauty of the visual art - and its ability to express what words struggle to encapsulate- was in my early teens. Ever since I have pursued this wish to make creativity and visual arts an important focal point throughout my life and career choices.

After securing a place at Chelsea Art School on one of their prestigious BA. Fine Art Courses, I came to realise that an artist really needs to place his/her most inner thoughts and processes on a silver plate. I wasn’t ready for it then.
Returning to my studies a few years later and specifically concentrating on Photography, I yet came to realise what Art can do for you.
The explorations, insights and platform visual arts can offer, will never fail to intrigue and fascinate me.

With this in mind, my focus shifted to other people and how I could share this fascination and how helpfull it could be for others to explore with the medium of Photography or what it could mean to be photographed.
This led to the concept that I first concieved in my final year at Uni, PLAY-IN-A-FRAME. A workshop whereby within a given framework, one can play out who or what they like to be.

This draws on the conception of Photo Therapy (Art Therapy), and in recent years with digital photography emerging, there is a definite use of this.
Think of your mobile phone how often you use it to capture where you have been, who you are with and what it was like.

This Project PLAY-IN-A-FRAME (P.I.A.F.) has certainly moved away the furthest from my original ambitions to be a Photographer, and has led to my current employment in mental health.
And there are certainly a few Developments to be done to make it valuable and accessible for many.

My search for a niche in the visual arts has brought me to many different places physically, mentally and emotionally.
What I have learned on the way is what I value most, but leaves my satisfaction with the current produced imagery somewhat behind. - I am still not the commercial artist that I long to be.
But maybe that isn’t my place. I am here to find out and to discover much more on the way, that I will share with you.

So if you like what you see, Get in touch!
If you need an artist to bounce of, to work with, to collaborate with,... or just to tell me how it is done or any other feedback. I am waiting to hear from you.
